Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the world's finest Akaushi Wagyu beef.
What makes Akaushi Wagyu different from other beef?
Akaushi, or Japanese Red Cattle, is known for its intense marbling and higher concentration of monounsaturated fats compared to other breeds. This results in a distinct buttery flavor, extreme tenderness, and a healthier fat profile.
How is my steak order packaged for shipping?
All steaks are vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at the peak of freshness. They are shipped in insulated coolers with dry ice or gel packs to ensure they remain at a safe, frozen temperature until they reach your doorstep.
When can I expect my delivery?
We ship orders Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend transit delays. Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number, and most deliveries arrive within 1-2 business days via expedited shipping.
How should I thaw my Akaushi Wagyu steaks?
For the best results, we recommend thawing your steaks slowly in the refrigerator for 24 hours. If you are in a hurry, you can place the vacuum-sealed package in a bowl of cold water for 30-60 minutes.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns; however, if your order arrives damaged or does not meet our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.
Are your cattle hormone and antibiotic-free?
Our Akaushi cattle are raised using traditional methods with no added hormones or subtherapeutic antibiotics. We prioritize the health and welfare of the animals to ensure the highest quality beef possible.
